Kensington Makes a Good Beer…But We All Knew That

Kensington Brewing Co.’s 1 year birthday party was a success (my standard of success of course being that I got to drink good beer on a Tuesday).  Being a suit, I arrived slightly late to the game, but I was able to reaffirm a few points:

1. The Augusta Ale is damn good and, as you see by my pictures taken minutes apart, goes down nice.

2. Wvrst is a great place to drink beer socially. This grainy photo does a less good of depicting that.

3. Not really an affirmation, but someone at Kensington or Wvrst is good with the chalk.

Now that the event is over, I only hope that these guys get their own brewery up and running soon (currently brewed on licence at Black Oak Brewery), and get their beer in the LCBO. I’m not saying I mind paying $6.75 for an Augusta Ale, but I’d like to take it home with me.
